Hi! We are the Canons - Andrea and Corey. We are Baltimore natives who decided to move to the Eastern shore for a fresh start and of course, to live closer to the beach!

Soon after we moved into our Berlin home, we developed a Chalk Paint hobby. We had a new home to furnish but didn’t want to fill it with just new pieces of furniture, we wanted to mix it up with some old pieces with character. Corey quickly became addicted with Chalk Paint, he found it to be very therapeutic and began to paint just about everything!

Corey had worked in the under ground pipeline industry for 9 years and Andrea worked in the insurance industry for 10 years. We both craved a change in our careers and always dreamed of running our own business. Berlin is such an inspiring town to live in and we felt the entrepreneurial spirit all around us.

When we discovered the beautiful building on Artisan’s way was available, we felt it was time to put a plan into action. What started as a hobby, quickly flourished into our very own business! Our dream came true! We are grateful that we get to do what we love every single day. Our family and friends, near and far have been extremely supportive and we are so very appreciative for their love and support. We absolutely love what we do!

We are so thankful for the support of our Berlin community and our amazing customers. We have accomplished a lot thus far and we look forward to the evolution of HOUSE and hope you’ll stop in for a visit soon, we’d love to meet you!
